Terrariums!
My most recent love is making terrariums! whether they are tiny ones in candle holders or large ones with handmade clay hobbit homes and mushrooms..
Tea Cup Pot
I made this painted tea cup from paper mache, using this template - http://annwood.net/blog/2011/02/24/paper-mache-teacup-pattern/ .. I then coated the inside with plastic, put some rocks and charcoal in the bottom, then soil, plants and moss. I made the mushrooms from FIMO clay for a final touch!
Mini Clay Pots
I made these tiny painted pots from air drying clay, and the hand tied nets from twine or ribbon.. Perfect for small succulents!
Hand Made Tree
So I made this out of a small branch with a variety of scrap papers for the leaves and bird cages. The small rocks at the bottom are covered in fabric scraps, and all of it is assembled into a little glass candle holder!
Illustrations - Hair Series
These paintings were created for my High School Certificate in 2011, when I first began to experiment with water colour and ink..
